How signings, launches, and the London Book Fair appearance work for our authors.

01 What kinds of author events does UK Publishing House run? +
Signings, panel discussions, launch parties, in-store activations at Waterstones and Foyles, and an annual presence at the London Book Fair. We also support authors with regional book club tours and Q&A nights in independent bookshops.
02 Are author events open to the public? +
Most public signings and panel events are open to anyone, often with free entry. A few invite-only events (publisher previews, trade-only days at the London Book Fair) require credentials. Each event card on this page indicates which is which.
03 How can an author be hosted at a UK Publishing House event? +
Authors published with us are eligible for the events programme at no extra cost. Independent authors can also enquire about partnered events through the contact form — we evaluate fit based on genre, region, and timing.
04 Are events streamed online? +
Selected panels and Q&As are streamed via our YouTube channel and authors' social platforms. The event card will mention "Livestream" if a remote feed is planned; otherwise events are in-person only.
